At Sensory Haven, we’re all about fun, play, and creativity!

Our Sensory Play Space is purposefully designed for babies, toddlers, and young children, with reduced capacity in every session to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone.

• Large sensory roller slide

☕ Café On Site

Our café is open during all Play Space sessions, serving hot drinks, scrumptious cakes, and tasty snacks for you to enjoy while your little ones play.

🌈 Saturday Morning Sessions (10:00 – 11:30 AM)

You can enhance your Saturday morning Sensory Play Space session with shared access to our additional Sensory Room — perfect for even more exploration and sensory fun!

• Shared access is available at a discounted rate, as this is not a private hire.

• If you would prefer private use of the Sensory Room, this can be booked separately via our booking page.

• Shared Sensory Room access ends at 11:15 AM, 15 minutes before the Sensory Play Space session concludes.

• The Sensory Play Space remains open until 11:30 AM.

We are committed to creating an inclusive space for all.

• A ramp is installed at the front of the property for easier access.

• Please note: our door width is 70cm, which may not accommodate all wheelchair sizes.

• A mobile hoist is available for use in both the Sensory Room and the Sensory Play Space.

• The LED ball pit and vibrating acoustic bed are suitable for hoist transfers.

• Please indicate on your booking if you require the hoist, so we can ensure it’s ready for your session.

• Due to space limitations, we can accommodate one wheelchair user per Sensory Room booking.

• Turning space is limited, especially in the Sensory Room.

🚻 Toilet Facilities

At this time, we do not have a disabled toilet or changing space on-site.
We understand this may be a barrier for some families and are actively looking into solutions for the future.

Christmas Grotto – Experience the Magic with Our Neurodiverse Santa! 🎅

No queues – just quality time and festive fun.

Join us for a magical and inclusive Christmas experience designed for everyone – from babies to adults!

✨ What to Expect

When you book a time slot, that’s exactly when you’ll meet Santa – no waiting in line! Enjoy a calm and personal experience with our neurodiverse Santa, where every guest is made to feel welcome and special.

Here’s what’s included in your visit:

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Booking Details

• Each session is 40 minutes: 20 minutes with Santa + 20 minutes of crafts and reindeer food. 

• We welcome all ages – babies, children, teens, and adults.

• A maximum of two bookings will be at the venue per time slot.

• The grotto can accommodate up to 6 people per booking, including adults and children.
  If your group is larger, please email us and we’ll be happy to arrange a manual booking.

💙 Inclusivity & Accessibility

Our sessions have been designed with inclusivity in mind, and we aim to create a warm, welcoming space for individuals with SEND and their families. We do not run separate SEND sessions, as every session is adapted to be accessible and supportive.

If you or your child have any specific needs, please let us know via email using sensoryhavendoncaster@gmail.com,  We’re happy to discuss accommodations and make adjustments wherever possible.

• Ramp access is available at the front of the property.

• The grotto is located in the activity room at the far end of the building.

• Please note: Doors are standard width, and we do not currently have an accessible toilet or changing place on site.

• Please provide the ages of the children you’re booking for at the booking page, following your booking please look out for an email where we will request names of children for Santa's nice list. 

• If you or any guests will be using a wheelchair  , please record this on the booking. Please also refer to our accessibility section.

🌈 Private Sensory Room Hire

Our Sensory Room is specially designed for babies, toddlers, children, and adults and is available for private hire.
The space accommodates a maximum of four people and offers a calming, interactive environment that supports sensory exploration and relaxation.

• Vibrating acoustic bed

• Switch-adapted bubble tubes & bubble machines

• Spin chair

• Fibre optics

• Sensory busy boards & fidgets

• Infinity mirrors
